Andreas Deutschmann

Andreas Deutschmann is a managing director at Avalon Securities, a New York based boutique investment bank where he focuses on advisory and capital raising functions for early-stage disruptive technology companies including artificial intelligence and renewable energy.

He has led teams in due diligence, investment and risk management and financial modeling as a Managing Director at JPMorgan, as a VP at John Hancock, and as a Manager for Deloitte and Touche. Those responsibilities were carried out in New York, Chicago, Boston, Luxembourg, Zurich, Vienna, Tokyo, and Singapore covering multiple private and public asset classes globally.

Mr. Deutschmann received a BS in Accountancy and a CPA from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and MBA degrees in Finance, Economics, and International Business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.  He is an Adjunct Professor of Venture Capital for Central European University’s Executive MBA Program in Budapest Hungary.  Previously Mr. Deutschmann was a corporate member of the Council of Foreign Relations.

He speaks frequently at global venues on the topics of Clean Energy, Sustainable Development, and Venture Capital; recently at the UN General Assembly 78th Congress in New York immediately after His Honor New York City Mayor Eric Adams and at COP27 and COP28.
