Patricia Stensrud
Patricia joined Avalon Net Worth as a Managing Director in 2015. She brings a successful career of building sustainable market leadership positions and value creation for companies in a variety of industry verticals that include technology, consumer and industrial products, retail architecture and real estate. As an investment banker, her focus is on renewables, life sciences, and tech-driven industrial and consumer companies.
Alongside her role at Avalon, Patricia serves as an independent director on the board of Crown Crafts, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWS), a market-leading children’s products company. She previously served on the board of Christopher & Banks (NYSE) from 2011-2015. Committee experience includes Audit, Compensation, Governance, and Capital. She is a Board Leadership Fellow with NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors).
Corporate leadership roles have included: President of Tommy Hilfiger Women's Sportswear USA; CEO of Victoria + Co, a division of The Jones Group; President of A&H Worldwide, global leader in package design/manufacturing; and various sales and marketing leadership roles with Avon, IBM and Hambrecht Terrell International, a global retail architecture firm. Patricia is also Founder and Managing Partner of Hudson River Partners, LLC, a New York-based advisory and real estate investment firm.
Her philanthropic board service has encompassed women’s leadership, environmental conservancy, and historic preservation which include President, Board Member and Board Chair emeritus with the Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York; the Preservation Society of Newport County (R.I.), and Vice-Chair, Hudsonia Institute (biodiversity research for the greater Hudson Valley region).
Subsequent to studying opera at the Eastman School of Music, Patricia graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and also an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco where she has also been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree in recognition of “continuing significant career achievements and lay leadership contributions to non-profit organizations.
